Title: QA/QC & HSE Manager
Reports to: Director
Based at: Caspian Marine Services limited Baku office

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Ensuring compliance where appropriate with the Company’s Policies and Procedures in accordance with the requirements of Quality Standard ISO 9001:2008, Occupational Health & Safety Standard OHSAS 18001:2007, the ISM Code 2010 and Environmental Standard ISO 14001:2004.
• Supervise the Quality Control functions/activities of a Project or its parts, including Quality Control Inspection Schedules and the collection of Quality/ Records. Ensures the availability of Quality Record Documents.
• Dealing with the Client for all the quality matters.
• Assess the implementation of the Quality Plan and Quality Control Plans on the site.
  Allocate Quality Control Personnel to the various areas of site activity.
• Supervises Inspections, Reports and the documentation issued by Inspectors and file the required Quality Records.
• Evaluate the qualifications of Inspection Personnel.
• Support the Construction Roles in the management and control of Sub-contractors.
• Support and/or execute to all the Internal/External Audits.
• Co-ordinate the relevant Tracking Systems for correct identification of materials.
• Supervise the correct equipment calibration management activities.
• Supervise inspection of defect renewal.
• Check the completeness and conformity to specified applicable requirements, Standards and/or Directives.
• Co-operate in Event Report Management and for all the implementation of relative corrective actions. Systematically record the non-conformity or Event Reports issued and identifies appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensures that the tests, controls and inspections are carried out and that Personnel have access to all required Project documentation.

• Ensures the management of all site problems regarding product/service.
• Monitors the progress of quality related site activities.
• Makes Vessel Personnel aware of and Trainee them on quality topics.
• Ensures, whenever necessary, the update of site Quality Control Plans/Control Procedures.
