Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to students of varying age groups and ability levels
• Observe and evaluate student's performance and development
• Actively participating in school assemblies
• Presenting lessons in a comprehensive manner and using visual resources to facilitate learning
• Motivating students to reach to fully progress in all areas of their development
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Qualified or licensed Teacher
• A strong understanding of both Cambridge and Edexcel curricula
• A well rounded subject knowledge base 
• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience as an 'IGCSE' or 'IB' Chemistry Teacher in international schools (experience of delivering 'A' level lessons would also be preferable but not essential) 
• A good level of overall English Language proficiency
• A clear understanding of international child safeguarding procedures and protocols
• An ability to support and promote the ABC ethos of child-centered education without compromising academic performance
