Job Location: PITS Azerbaijan Office located at AF Business House, 203 Nizami St, Baku 1010, Azerbaijan
Working Days and Hours: 40 hours/weekly, 5 days/weekly, 17:00-02:00 Baku time (or 09:00-18:00 New York time zone)
Agreement Type and Pay: Service agreement with the USA office, 1500-2000 AZN (NET).
About the Role:
We're seeking a sharp Data Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in optimizing our marketing performance across all channels! You'll leverage your data expertise to analyze campaign data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to maximize return on investment (ROI).
Responsibilities:
- Dive deep into marketing data from various sources, including website analytics, CRM systems, etc. This data will encompass impressions, clicks, conversions, audience demographics, and campaign performance metrics (paid and organic).
- Clean and manipulate data for insightful analysis, utilizing advanced techniques in Excel tables.
- Unleash your statistical and mathematical prowess to uncover trends and patterns in marketing data, pinpointing what drives success and areas for improvement across organic and paid channels.
- Craft compelling data visualizations (charts, dashboards) to communicate insights clearly to marketing and leadership teams, even those without a technical background.
- Recommend data-driven strategies and tactics to optimize marketing campaigns, improve conversion rates, and maximize ROI.
- Stay on top of the latest marketing analytics trends and tools by demonstrating a strong self-learning skill. This includes being comfortable with learning new materials related to marketing and marketing tools.
- Partner with the marketing team to develop and implement A/B testing for various marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent experience).
- 1+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a marketing or advertising environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for uncovering insights from data.
- Expertise in statistical methods and the ability to apply them to real-world marketing data.
- Proficient in SQL or similar querying languages to extract and manipulate data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to translate complex data findings for non-technical audiences. A good level of English is desired.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel techniques, including tables, formulas, and pivot tables for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
