NORM Cement plant is located in the territory of Garadagh district, one of the most industrial important areas of the country.
The production capacity of 5 000 tons of clinker per day and 2.000.000 tons per year gives the opportunity to become the largest cement production company within the South Caucasus and Caspian Region.

We are currently seeking for Financial Reporting Specialist

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual budget performance reports
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of internal management reporting requirements
• Assist with accounting close procedures, including creation of analytic reports and special projects relating to specific account balances and procedures
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual IFRS financial statements from the financials prepared in local tax accounting basis
• Assist in technical accounting research related to the proper application of accounting pronouncements and guidance, including the implementation of new accounting pronouncements
• Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed
• Prepare quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial information binder to be
• Perform special analyses and projects as and when requested by the CFO, such as participating in the implementation of new financial management and reporting software (ERP system)
• Perform other duties as assigned by Line Manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics. A Master’s degree in Business Administration will be a plus
• Should be detail oriented and analytical problem solver
• Ability to respond effectively to the inquires or complaints
• Should be able to meet specified deadlines
• Organization skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks, to prioritize workload and to work under stress
• Have good knowledge and working experience of tax accounting procedures and IFRS reporting practices
• Minimum of 3-5 years of general accounting experience, 2 years of which in financial reporting
• Be proficient with an enterprise accounting software and financial reporting applications as well as Microsoft Excel
• Should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency (spoken and written) in Azeri and English
• The candidates with an international certificate credentials such as ACCA, CPA or CIMA are highly preferable
