InterContinental Baku Hotel is looking to hire a Senior Marketing Specialist.

Your day to day:

• Monitoring competitors’ marketing efforts to identify new trends in marketing or new products that could impact business operations
• Writing news releases about company activities or product launches
• Identifying potential customer needs, researching customer preferences, and recommending appropriate products or services
• Creating marketing plans and strategies for clients based on their needs and budgets
• Managing all aspects of an advertising campaign including planning, buying space or time, developing creative materials, and ensuring compliance with local laws
• Researching the marketplace for new technologies that may be used in marketing campaigns
• Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies such as creating websites, creating advertisements for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TripAdvisor, Website and etc.

What we need from you:

• 5+ years professional experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a specialist or similar role 
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns
• Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required 
• Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
• Excellent communication skills & Ability to ‘take people with you’
• Strong presentation skills
• Strategic thinker
• Excellent written and verbal English is a must, Russian will be an asset
